Bred by Thomas Wagner of Tater Mater Seeds and introduced in 1983. Succulent, sweet & zingy flavor. Medium-sized, 4-5 oz fruits start out pale grn w/dk green stripes that soften & turn yellow when ripe. Perfect exteriors, fruits hold up under adverse conditions & rarely crack. Very productive. Heirloom-One of the best Russian black tomatoes. Provides unusual pear shaped fruit that look like a mahogany-colored Bartlett pear w/greenish shoulders! This short potato leaf plant yields prolific quantities of 4-6 ounce fruit. Good sliced in salad/cooked in a sauce-great flavor. One of the blackest on the market & resistant to cracking. This French heirloom variety is a fabulous fresh-eating tomato with an intense sweet, fruity flavor. The rich orange fruits are held in small clusters, each fruit the size of a golf ball or slightly larger. Excellent for salads but also great in sauces or for drying. Heirloom-This variety originated in W. Virginia. A beefy slicer big enough for breakfast, lunch & dinner! The brilliant, bt. ylw to orange fruits are 4-5" across or larger & are meaty, sweet, & full flavored. A perfect yellow tomato! This is a Russian heirloom that is crack resistant, meaty, low acid, 10-14 ounce tomato with a delicious flavor. Plant in full sun. This totally tublar tomato from the wine country of northern California has a psychedelic look with rosy tinged skin and green stripes. The big, succulent fruit can reach 8-12 ounces with a sweet earthy flavor. Great when plucked right off the vine or an awesome look in salads. Award winner. Heirloom tomato from England developed in the 1970's. Has tangy, bite sized fruits that are red with orange stripes. The round, 1.5-2" fruits are slightly acidic, juicy, and have a firm texture. Expect heavy yields. Has thin skins that can split if overripe. Disease resistant. Days to maturity: 55-65. Heirloom-One of the only round, black cherries available with a characteristic dark purplish color. One inch fruits are sensational with the sweet, rich, full flavor common to all of the Russian black tomatoes. A striking addition to cherry tomato mixes. Very productive disease resistant plants. An early prolific cherry tomato. One inch golden yellow fruits are juicy with mild, non-acidic flavor. The skin is thinner than similar varieties yet more resistant to cracking.
