Perennial: Deer resistant. Collected in the mountains of Szechuan, China & cataloged by the University of California Botanical Garden at Berkeley. A halo of velvety hairs surrounds the 1" long flowers, which have a purple upper lip & a yellow lower lip spotted & striped w/purple. Blm time: summer-fall. Height: 24-48" (w/flower). Width: 36".
