Annual: Heirloom -cactus type zinnias were a breakthrough in the 1920's. Deer resistant. Large 3-6" blooms have quilled petals that look gorgeous in bouquets. This is a cut-and-come-again flower - so deadhead to encourage more. Good cut flower. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Bloom time: summer-fall. A yellow zucchini!! Produces high quality, thin-skinned fruits with a delicate texture with a light flavor. Tasty and nutritious. The skin contributes to good eating quality, so no need to peel.
