Perennial: Native to China. A slow growing evergreen ground cover spreading by underground stems. Dense, very finely-textured leaves are long & narrow. Leaves are erect and then bend over. Use in rock gardens, beds, beside paths or along garden pools. Deer resistant. Blooms: summer. Color: white to lilac followed by blue-black berries. Ht: 4-6". Spreading growth. Part shade/sun on coast. Water: moderate/dry. USDA Z7-10.
