A delicious and early variety with pretty violet skin and smoky blue-green leaves. Very juicy and slow to bolt. Has attractive flat-round bulbs with crisp white flesh with a smooth peppery flavor. It is delicious raw or cooked. Great in soups, salads, slaws, and other dishes. Fast and fun to grow. Harvest when bulbs are 2-3" in diameter. Grow in filtered sunlight. Days to maturity: 50.
