Excellent early summer variety. Dense, solid heads are very spherical, 5-7" in diameter & weigh 3-5 lbs. Delicate but crunchy texture. Sweet, spicy flavor with buttery undertones when cooked. Compact habit ideal for small gardens that can be planted closer together than other cabbage varieties. Great for slow cooking, slaws & sauerkraut. Height: 12-15". Plant in part shade.
