Deeply incised and ruffled, rounded oak-leaf shape are upright and a very deep green. Excellent, mild flavor that is more nutty than spicy and sets itself apart from others. The blooms are edible; use both in things like salads, sandwiches, pizza, pasta, sushi and in stir-fries. Good for bunching and bagging. Quick growing and very cold tolerant.
