Perennial Herb: Evergreen. Tolerates drought, deer, fire, heat, coast & poor soil. Somewhat gopher resistant. Was discovered on the lower slopes of Montara Mountain in the San Mateo County Coast. Broad white flower heads appear summer-fall. Good for pots, borders, cut/dried flower & rock gardens. To use as a lawn, mow before it flowers. Attracts butterflies. Height: 4'. Exp.: full sun.
