An improved Hubbard-type winter squash w/orng-red rind, creamy ylw, thick flesh that has a nutty & very sweet flavored.Great for use in soups, stir-fries & pies. This variety was bred in Japan & is popular braised in dashi stock, a Thai dish, braised in coconut milk. It grows vigorously in warm climates & likes water during growth. Very productive & uniform, 3-4 lb teardrop shaped fruits. Stores well. Sun. (Maturity: 90-100 days)
