It produces an avg. squash that is about 7 in. in diameter and weighs approximately 3 lbs., though some can be over 5 lbs. The inedible rind is dk green striated w/silvery gray stripes & spots. The dense flesh is dk yellow-orange, sometimes near a deep reddish color. Steaming & baking are preferred methods for preparing this squash. It keeps well & is tough enough to resist punctures & scratches. Sun. (Maturity: 105 days)
