Ruffled, semi-double scarlet red blooms with gold stamens. Vigorous, open shrub with long graceful canes that provide excellent spring display and are followed by pretty orange-red hips in fall. Tall, upright growth habit. Shrub, 6-8 x 6-8 feet. As a climber, 10-12 feet. (1948)
