Provides all season interest! In spring there is a heavy flush of blooms with occasional repeat later in the season. In fall round, fat & fleshy bright red hips arrive. In winter, the foliage turns from green to shades of yellow & red. Has very fragrant, large, 3" semi-double ruffled purple-red blooms with a petal count of 9-16. Use in beds, borders & hedges.
