This is a great multipurpose chile for processing or for eating fresh. For many this is the most productive traditional Anaheim type. Uniform, 6-7" x 2" fruits ripen from bright green to mahogany to red, but are usually eaten green. This is the Southwest favorite for stuffing (chile rellenos), grilling, & roasting. The flesh is thick & crisp with a delicious mild heat & richly satisfying chile flavor. (Maturity: 70 days)
