Very showy in the field and on the plate. Small 3-4" fruits are similar in shape to a jalapeño, but are much milder and ripen from glossy jet black to red. Green foliage is highlighted by purple veins and attractive purple flowers; also suitable for ornamental use. Great for eating fresh, roasting, salsa, pickling and drying.
