Perennial: A new cultivar that has a more upright shape, grows a bit taller & blooms shortly after pink muhly grass. Very showy & versatile. Tolerates seasides, deer, hot climates, bog & soil from moist to dry, acidic to alkaline & sandy to marshy. Attracts butterflies. Blooms: late summer/early fall w/ivory-white, fluffy panicles that look like cotton candy. Cut back after flowering if desired. Growth: 3-4' x 3-4'. Sun/part shade. USDA Z6-10
