Heirloom - A bright green oak leaf type that is most commonly used as a baby leaf lettuce. It is favored for its shape, color and rapid growth rate. The full size head is loose and open. It is very attractive and always tender and sweet and does not get bitter as it matures. Resists heat, bolting and tip burn. All-American Selections winner in 1952. Plant in full sun to part shade.
