The best time to plant garlic is late fall. Plant 4-6 inches deep and 4-8 inches apart. The garlic should be harvested in the summer. You will know when it is ready to harvest because the bottom leaves start to dry out and turn brown. Keep stalks attached when harevesting and drying, and let dry for 4-6 weeks.
