Heirloom-Introduced from Armenia to Italy in the 1400’s, this attractive, crisp cuke stays sweet even when the fruit is large. This variety has thin skins w/dense flesh, few seeds, and a pleasant mild flavor. It is easily digestible–skin & all. It is heavily ribbed w/light green skin. Produces very long, 12-30” fruit, best eaten when 12-18” long & less than 2 œ” across. Plant in full sun. Thrives in hot weather. (Maturity: 70 days).
