The best cress for the outdoor garden. It is similar to watercress, but is much easier to grow. The plants are very slow to bolt and long-standing. Cress has many uses: enliven salads, soupls, sauces, egg dishes, and your favorite sandwiches by adding fresh young cress lvs, shoots & flower buds. Use the leaves as a garnish, or as a sub for parsley. Stuff pitas or wraps w/cress sprouts. Plant in part shade. (Maturity: 50 days) (Barbarea verna)
