Perennial Grass: Drought & deer resistant. Almost the same as C. acu. 'Stricta', the only difference is in cool climates where Karl Foerster is more compact & blooms 2-3 weeks earlier. Nice border & cut flower plant. Blooms: spring-summer. Ht: 2-3' Flowers: 5-6'. Prefers moist, rich soil in full sun. Can take heavy soils & heat if plenty of moisture is present. USDA Z4.
