Perennial Herb: Deciduous. Deer resistant. Drought & coast tolerant. Also called Puerto Rican Oregano but not a true oregano. Commonly used as a culinary herb in Mexico & the southern states. Much stronger in flavor & hotter than Origanum, some say earthy & citrusy. Generally it is dried for Mexican cooking. Fragrant lemon scent. Has a natural leggy growth habit. Color: white. Size: 3-6’ x 3-6’. Exp.: sun. Water: mod. USDA Z9.
